Also  known before as Cape of Good Hope,Cape of Storms by the Portugese who "discovered Cape Town's Table Bay" and Dutch who started an the "official" settlement from Europe enroute to the East and India. Cape Town also now spanns from the Atlantic ocean to the Indian ocean that meets at Cape Point. (This gives  opportunity to swim ,surf, dive,fish,leisure at two oceans within few minutes drive. )
