| You can get to the top of Table Mountain by various routes
on foot, or by the new revolving cable cars. At the top there are
observation plant farms, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
The cable car operates daily except on windy days.

| Robben Island |
| One of South Africa's most significant historical sites,
Robben Island is a memorial to a long liberation struggle.
Robben Island became famous for being the prison in which Nelson
Mandela spent much of his 27 years of incarceration. Before being a
prison it was a leper colony, an asylum, and a supply station for the
Dutch East India Company.
A visit to Robben Island will be moving and memorable. Each tour
is about 3˝ hours long, including the two half-hour ferry rides. Robben
Island is situated ten kilometers offshore.

| V&A Waterfront |
| The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a major shopping
& entertainment cente, is Cape Town's most popular attraction.

| Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, situated at the southern
end of the Cape Peninsula, is one of twenty Natural Heritage sights in the
world. The nature reverve is renowned for its fynbos, but Cape Point
is the highlight.
The dramatic sea cliffs of Cape Point are the highest in the world.
It is said that they seperate the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean and
the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean.
